The Rapids,,Killarney National Park,,Co. Kerry.

Whilst speaking to a Local man,, Whose name was Peadar,I remembered because I have a cousin by the same name,,,He told me those waters, shooting down from Galwey's Bridge,,they called the Rapids  it's a lovely sight and in the picture you can see the Spire of an Old Church, almost centre picture,,this Church is called Derrycunnihy Church,,,it is boarded up at the present time,,It is also around about a half mile at the bottom of the hill, from the Famed Ladie's View,,this view is Fantastic,,,and from there all the Lakes and Mountains form a Really Beautiful Landscape,,it must be the most Photographed place around and is Famed the World over,,,,The name is derived from the time Queen Victoria visited and Her Ladies - in - Waiting,,were so very much taken with the Scenery,,they kept wanting to come back and See it Again,,,,Very Good News!!
