Consider the moonlight,
of a harvest night sky.
See the Summertime,
on it's way passing by.
Consider the Autumn,
as it slowly moves in.
The seasons are changing,
time to store all within.
Consider the Swallows,
as they swoop then are gone.
They know that their time,
has come to move on.
Consider golden leaves falling,
on breezes are blown.
The trees that were green,
bare bark now are showing.
Consider the birds,
all who had roosted here,
will roost deep in the forests,
out of reach of the ear.
Consider just those few things,
you may wonder why,
There's no change in the Moon,
in this Harvest Night sky.
