The Gap of Dunloe is a famed beauty spot not only Kerry but in all of Ireland. This majestic landscape creating by the movement of ice around two million years is regarded as the finest example of a glaciated valley in western Europe.
The Gap is a narrow pass in the the mountains of the McGuillycuddy Reeks between the Purple Mountain on the left and the Bull Mountain on the right. In this majestic setting the visitor travels 10kms of winding pathway passing five Loughs (lakes) on the journey.
