Dingle Peninsula - Kerry

Dingle Peninsula - Kerry

The parish of Dún Chaoin (Dunquin) is at the most westerly tip of the Dingle Peninsula in County Kerry. It comprises eleven town lands on the mainland and the famous Blasket Islands which are visible three miles offshore. Jutting outwards the mighty expanse of the Atlantic ocean, the area is often referred to as " The next parish to America"

It’s a place renowned for its magnificent scenery and its surviving Gaelic culture. The air is fresh and exhilarating here. The rugged cliffs and spectacular views of the Blasket islands make it a memorable region to visit.
