A View of Derrycunnihy Church,,at Galwey's Bridge in Killarney National Park,c1850,,and just a stone's throw from the Famed Ladies View,,made Famous by Queen Victoria's Ladies in Waiting,,,,The Local Lore has it that an Apparition occurs frequently at night,,,,that of a young girl seen dressed in White described  by some as a Tortured Soul can be seen outside the Church late at night,,,the story is that of a young girl who was knocked off her bicycle on her way home,,according to local lore ,,She is still trying to make her way home,,,according to some the Girl in white can be seen in passing cars,going to and from Killarney,,with only the driver seeing Her when they look in the Car's interior mirror and any passengers are oblivious to her presence and she disappears just after she passes Her Home,,many stories surround how this young girl met her death,,,,but what ever the truth the Young Girl looks set to roam the area round Derrycunnihy Church way into the future,,Amen!
