The cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s most notable coastal features.
Located south of the village of Doolin in County Clare these breathtaking cliffs are a must see for anyone visiting the west coast. Rising slowly from Doolin, they ascend to over 700 feet (213 metres) stretching south for almost 8km to Hags Head.
The Moher Visitor Centre was opened at the site in 2007. The centre incorporates an audio visual theatre, exhibition, restaurant and retail areas. Part of this development was the provision of raised viewing platforms which were constructed along the coast path to provide the visitor with better views.
