Beautiful Aasleagh Falls is situated near Leenane in the heart of Connemara.

The waterfall featured in a scene from the movie ‘The Field’ which was written by John B. Keane. The story was adapted for the big screen by Jim Sheridan in 1990 and starred the late Richard Harris.
