#1 Kilmacoliver Hill & Megalithic Tomb,,Tip of Sliabh na mBan in Background.

Near the most Pleasant village of Tullahought in County Kilkenny,there is a very nice Loop - Walk to the summit of Kilmacoliver Hill which has a Stone Circle and Megalithic Tomb at 263m as per Ordnance Survey map number 75 Discovery Series,,some fantastic views can be seen from here of Counties Kilkenny,,Tipperary & Waterford and of Slievenamon in Tipperary and Comeragh Mountains in County Waterford and right down through the Suir Valley towards Waterford City,,,,It is not too strenuous  and could take an hour and a half to two hours ,,depends on how you go,,,,,It is well worth a go and you feel the better of it almost as soon as you finish,,,,,then perhaps you could take some Refreshments in Power's Pub in the Village when you go back to the car,,,Power's has been Refurbished but glad to say it has retained it's Old Pub Front with it's Window with Postbox inserted as in Old Times and also I believe [though have not seen] some of the Old interior,,The Clancy Brothers,God Rest Them sang many a Ballad here in their early days,,,,Well Worth Visiting,,,, and they are expecting George Clooney here in June or July don't think date is fixed yet,,,,I will come back and edit it into this when sure of the date,,anyway it will be well advertised in the Media I am sure,,,,George [ Ocean's Eleven ] his Roots are somewhere local,,,,,,God Bless!!
